Fight against Boko Haram : President Paul BIYA honours soldiers

The President of the Republic His Excellency Paul BIYA has attributed medals to over 400 soldiers for their bravery in the war against the Boko Haram terrorist group.  Senior Officers, Officers and ordinary soldiers of the Rapid Intervention Brigade known as “BIR” who have displayed determination, patriotism and courage in fight to protect the national territory from the incursions of the Boko Haram insurgents have been honoured by the President of the Republic, Head of the Armed Forces.

Entrance results into IRIC : the Head of State resolves the matter

Informed of the controversy arising from the publication of entrance results into IRIC, the Head of State, in the quest for equity, gave instructions that all the candidates whose names appear in the two lists that were published, as well as those found on the waiting list, be admitted into the school. This makes a total of 22 admitted.

COPAX leaders reiterate commitment to eradicate Boko Haram

The Head of State His Excellency Paul BIYA has made it clear that the ideology and conduct of Boko Haram is incompatible with humanity and must therefore be completely crushed. Speaking at the opening ceremony of the summit he also lauded the Chadian support consisting of an important contingent of soldiers fighting alongside Cameroonian troops in the Far North region of Cameroon.

Fight Against Boko Haram: Yaoundé and N'Djamena Pool their Forces

The President of the Republic of Cameroon, His Excellency Paul BIYA hereby announces that within the framework of the excellent friendship and good neighbourhood ties existing between Cameroon and Chad, His Excellency Mister Idriss DEBY ITNO, President of the Republic of Chad, has decided to send an important contingent of Chadian Armed Forces to support the Cameroonian Armed Forces who are fighting against the repeated attacks of the Boko Haram Islamic sect with courage, determination and bravery acknowledged by all.
