The Supreme Court of Cameroon is the highest judicial authority in the country's tripartite system.

Established by the 1996 Constitution, it serves as the apex court for judicial, administrative, and audit matters.

It functions primarily as a court of cassation, reviewing appeals from lower courts strictly on points of law.

Organised into Judicial, Administrative, and Audit Benches, it adjudicates civil, criminal, and fiscal cases with impartiality.

Its judges are appointed by the President of the Republic.

The Supreme Court promotes legal uniformity and strengthens Cameroon's unitary and decentralised state within its bilingual framework.
