President Paul BIYA decorates Marines of Two Patrol Vessels
Tweet

The President of the Republic, His Excellency Paul BIYA signed a series of decrees on 20 June 2025, including one awarding the Fourragere to crew members of patrol vessels; CNS Ntem, and CNS Sanaga.

These vessels made an exceptional achievement in 2022, completing the first transoceanic crossing in Cameroon's naval history.

The military Fourragere is an honorary distinction worn by a unit. It symbolises high feats of arms and bravery.
