The wife of the President of the Republic Mrs. Chantal BIYA accompanied the Head of State to Equatorial Guinea to attend the African Union summit holding in Malabo on the 26th and 27th of June 2014. The First Lady was given loud cheers by the Cameroonian community in Malabo who turned out in large numbers to welcome the Presidential Couple. Mrs. Chantal BIYA later took part in the opening session of the summit where she was seated in a special place reserved for First Ladies.
