Cameroon’s cooperation ties with the Republic of Chad came under review on 19 June 2023 at Unity Palace during an audience granted by the President of the Republic, His Excellency Paul BIYA to Gali Ngothe Gatta, Minister of State, Secretary General of the Presidency of Chad.
The President of the Republic His Excellency Paul BIYA and his counterpart of the Central African Republic, Faustin Archange TOUADERA had discussions at the Unity Palace on Saturday 29 April 2023 on several issues of interest to both countries. The audience that lasted over two hours, was an opportunity for the leaders of Cameroon and Central African Republic to make an overview of relations between the two neighbouring countries.

The mega iron ore exploitation project by Cameroon and Congo has received another boost following an audience granted by the President of the Republic to Pierre Oba, Congo’s Minister of State for Mines and Geology on 2 February 2023. Both personalities exchanged principally on the progress of the Mbalam-Nabeba iron ore project.
