The Head of State His Excellency Paul BIYA and Madam Chantal BIYA returned to Yaounde on Friday 20 November 2015 after their successful attendance of the 38th UNESCO conference in Paris that also marked the 70th anniversary of the organisation.

Following the terrorist attacks that hit Paris on Friday 13 November 2015, the President of the Republic His Excellency Paul BIYA has declared his firm support to President François HOLLANDE and the people of France.

The Head of State His Excellency Paul BIYA and Madam Chantal BIYA returned to Yaoundé on Saturday 12 September 2015 after a brief private stay in Europe. The Presidential Couple landed at the Nsimalen International Airport in Yaoundé shortly after 4 pm and were warmly received by senior State personalities and an enthusiastic crowd of party militants and well-wishers.
Cameroon and Nigeria will hence forth step up their concerted action so as to rapidly end the scourge of the Boko Haram terrorist group. This was made clear by the joint communique read at the end of the visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to Cameroon by the Permanent Secretary at the Nigerian Ministry of Defence, Mr. Alhadji ALIYU ISMAILA, and Cameroon’s Minister of External Relations, Professor Pierre MOUKOKO MBONJO.
