The President of the Republic, His Excellency Paul BIYA received New Year wishes from Members of the Diplomatic Corps and National Dignitaries on Friday, 6 January 2023 at Unity Palace.
The last day of the second U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit in Washington D.C. was characterised by high-level discussions. President Paul BIYA granted an audience to His Excellency Umaro Sissoco Embaló of Guinea-Bissau on the sidelines of the event.
At the invitation of His Excellency Joe BIDEN, His Excellency Paul BIYA, President of the Republic of Cameroon, left Yaounde late this morning, accompanied by his wife, Mrs Chantal BIYA, to attend the Second United States-Africa Leaders Summit that will be held in Washington from 13 to 15 December 2022.
A new and promising chapter will soon open to deepen the strong and historic diplomatic relations that bind the Republic of Cameroon and the French Republic. This important development was disclosed on 26 July 2022 by Presidents Paul BIYA and Emmanuel MACRON in a joint press conference held in Yaounde.
