2018 New Year Wishes: First Lady Fetes with Over 1,000 Women
Mrs. Chantal BIYA has received 2018 New Year wishes from over 1,000 women in a ceremony organised at the East Wing of the Unity Palace on 5 January. This was a day after a similar exercise was accorded to President Paul BIYA by Members of the Diplomatic Corps and National Dignitaries.

Several Members of Government and senior dignitaries of the Republic attended the event that was organised on Saturday 23 December 2017.
Over 1,500 Vulnerable Children Receive Christmas Gifts at Chantal BIYA Foundation
At least 1,500 underprivileged children – pupils from seven primary schools, orphans of the Children First Centre, and patients at the Mother and Child Centre – have received Christmas gifts donated by Mrs. Chantal BIYA, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador and Special Ambassador of UNAIDS.
